Polimer Teknik has successfully tested a new fibre-glass reinforcement line poex T60HT series with screw diameter 58 mm and maximum speed 900 rpm based on one of its high torque density 16 Nm/cm³.

This is the highest performance serie of the poex T60HT and provides higher capacity up to 50% comparing with its standard T60 series with 12 Nm/cm³. The compounder is equipped with two side feeders to enable addition of various types of filler and the system is being fed with Brabender Gravimetric Feeders (4 components). The engineering works are supported by Ansys CFD analysis software before production of the strand die.

The output capacity for 30% fiberglass reinforced polyamide 6 is achieved up to 1300 kg/h.
