The specialized equipment is designed for the production of materials based on thermoplastic elastoplasts and will allow the company to produce all types of TPE compounds.
The contract was ceremoniously signed at the Ruplastica exhibition at the NPP Polyplastic stand on January 24 as part of the presentation of the new TechnoTEP range, which the company held. In 2024, the leading Russian compounder will launch a whole range of brands developed for use in the automotive industry, the production of electrical engineering and large household appliances, the cable industry, as well as for the production of pipes and railway superstructure. Some of the brands have no or few analogues in Russia.
Alexander Pavlov, General Director of NPP Polyplastic: “The needs of the Russian market for domestic thermoplastic elastoplasts are growing. And comprehensive approach is necessary for the development and production of high-quality materials: a good scientific base, experience and specialized equipment. We have done a lot of work to find a reliable supplier of a technological line and are glad to sign a contract with the leading Turkish manufacturer of equipment for compounding plastics.”
The leader in the Russian compounder market is investing more than 330 million rubles in a new line for TPE production. The equipment supply is planned for the first half of 2025. The productivity of the new line will be 1000 kg/h.
